 | When you become a part of Army ROTC, you're not just working toward a diploma, but an even brighter future as a leader alongside other motivated Cadets. But make no mistake, you're a student first. You'll have a college schedule like your fellow students, but you'll also receive classroom and field courses that will challenge and excite you. Beyond that, you can take part in events and activities with fellow Cadets that will make your college experience even better. |  | The Ranger Challenge is an opportunity for schools to "compete" with each other completing military tasks. In addition to a written examination where Cadets test their Army knowledge, there are physical fitness drills and field exercises. Battalions leave a Ranger Challenge with stronger bonds and sharper skills. |  | It is a great honor for cadets to participate in the Color Guard, representing our nation’s Colors. Members of the Color Guard presents the colors at campus social events, military appreciation events, and community functions throughout the school year. |  | Patrol the downtown Las Vegas Strip, during the annual Veterans Day Parade. Cadets display their pride in the nation while performing in the Las Vegas Veteran's Day Parade. |  | Cadets participate an annual sports day with rival Air Force ROTC program. |  | Each Semester cadets participate in the CWST Lab. This includes a 25 meter continuous-swim, jumping from the high dive (3 meters) while blind folded with weapon in hand, swimming 15 meters in uniform while holding a weapon, jumping into the water and removing all gear while still submerged, and constructing a flotation device with the uniform pants. This is generally the most popular lab we hold each semester! |
