In its 50-year history, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas
(UNLV), has undergone an amazing transformation, from a
dusty outpost on the south edge of town to a thriving urban
research institution. Along the way, thanks to its
innovative frontier spirit, UNLV has kept pace with one of
the country’s fastest-growing and most enterprising cities.
The Army ROTC program at UNLV is proud of its history; and
is one of the best ROTC programs in the western United
States. The program trains leadership and other essential
skills necessary for students to learn how to lead todays
soldiers.
The program is run by Army
officers and non-commissioned officers with a wealth of
